Großformatige Bilder von verdienten Offizieren und großflächige Darstellungen der siegreichen Feldzüge wurden in der kaiserlichen "Ruhmeshalle" der "Halle des Purpurglanzes" chin. Ziguangge präsentiert. Im Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst wird in einer Sonderausstellung eine Auswahl der für die Halles des Purpurglanzes gefertigten Bilder gezeigt. Neben Werken der Malerei sind Kupferstiche sowie Lackpaneele zu sehen.
