Comprising of: A sermon by Rev Philip Holland An address on the propriety of ordination with questions by Joseph Dawson and the answers by William Turner. A Prayer by William Wood A Charge by rev William Turner. This work was published at the request of the congregation of Protestant Dissenters in Hanover Square Newcastle on Tyne. With errata leaf pasted to the final leaf. In a half calf binding with marbled paper boards. Externally rubbed to the spine and extremities. Loss to the head and tail of spine due to rubbing. Small cracks to the joints moreso to the front joint. Front hinge is strained but firm. Prior owner's bookplate to verso of front endpaper. An inscription above the bookplate is dated 1825.
