A large folding tourist map showing the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales and The Blue Mountains Western railway line extending from Marrangaroo Mt. Bald and Mt. Wilson down to Mt. Korrowall and from the River Cox to the Nepean River. <br /> <br /> The Railway route is indicated from Penrith through Glenbrook Lawson Katoomba Blackheath Mt. Victoria Newnes Junction Eskbank and Marrangaroo with the elevation beginning at 89 ft and climbing to 3076 ft. An insert at lower left is entitled "Diagram Shewing Routes for Jenolan Caves". <br /> <br /> It appears that the map was first printed in 1910. Folding color map verso with text printed and numbered in the 10 panels. Text includes highlights of the area as well as a table showing the depth of various waterfalls in the area and a table listing routes and fares and motor car time table. <br /> <br /> The map measures 24 x 17 1/2" and folds to 5 x 8 3/4".
