Ogni spoglia era contenuta in una cassetta portata a mano da congiunti, da soldati, da privati cittadini." "Una tragica lotta notturna s'e svolta sopra un piroscafo britannico nelle acque di Hong-Kong. Trenta pirati, camuffati da passeggeri, si sono precipitati sul ponte di comando per impadronirsi della nave. Esasperati per la resistenza opposta dall'equipaggio, hanno cosparso di petrolio e incendiato la tolda. Tra i bagliori dell'incendio la lotta è continuata per molte ore sino all'arrivo di un cacciatorpediniere inglese. Vi sono stati cento morti.".

Photographs also show junks and beach-goers Hong Kong University and individual residents. The publisher manufactured premium cigars for the Hong Kong and Filipino markets. Managed by Carl Ingenohl it had a factory of some 310000 square feet near Nathan Road and Soy Street. Landscape quarto. With 15 captioned photogravure plates. Original grey card wrappers front cover printed in gilt photogravure of harbour laid down within blind panel. Wrappers lightly creased a little skinning on rear cover plates fresh: a very good copy. unknown
