Cm. 36x24,8, Ognuna delle 40 facciate reca lunghi testi (alcuni ripetuti più volte in vari tipi diversi di calligrafìe; alcune delle serie di alfabeti e di cifre. Alcune recano in calce la firma di Regina PAVESI - Novara e/o la data Roma, 28 o 30 ottobre 1928, ciò che fa pensare si tratti dei "capolavori" di una bravissima allieva (cui vanno scusati almeno due errori di grafia). Solo a tratti s'intravvedono travve della tracciatura a matita poi cancellata. Ci sono 21 ALFABETI,L almeno 4 serie di NUMERI, in 18 facciate appaiono grandi eleganti SVOLAZZI ornamentale, in 5 facciate caratteri anche in rosso. I testi innegggiano al "raggio del divin lume", al Risorgimento ("L'Italia non è la terra dei morti"),. alla Bandiera Italiana, a Leopardi, a Eleonora Duse, a Edmondo De Amicis, ,a Donatello e Michelangelo, all'amicizia, alla mamma, o sono rime peregrine ("dorme non lo svegliate / segue d'un sogno dorato le orme...", o contro il vizio del giuoco, o echeggiano Dante; ma non mancano modelli commerciali (Banca, fattura, assegno). Introvabile REPERTORIO calligrafico.

Colour illustration by Chinese artist (whose name appears in Chinese characters in lower right corner) depicts charming harbour scene with small traditional human-powered craft in foreground and larger Chinese junks (ships) in background. Illustration measures 17.6" x 17.8". Average wear. Several short openings to periphery, the longest being 1.75" to lower right corner of illustration. Two pinholes to each corner.
