George Volck a motion picture and Hollywood agent who was probably pitching this story to Lester Cowan the addressee and an independent film producer in the 1930s and 1940s. He also sent a carbon copy of a 4-page synopsis of the story which according to Volck's letter was told in 293 pages. A half-hearted search turned up nothing to suggest that any play or motion picture was ever produced.
