I to VI (I-II in vol.I, III-IV in vol.II and V-VI in vol.III) including various important contribution by famous scientists like Faraday, Davy, Daniell, Babbage, Brewster et Al. Volume I in contemporary stiff cardboards lightly worn and modern spine in cloth with paper label (see photo), old society sticker and private ex-libris on pastedown, old inscription on endpaper, brittle paper, light sporadic foxing, more noticeable on two plates, overall in good conditions. Volumes II and III in modern stiff card cover with label on spine, new endpaper, ex-libris on pastedown, in vol. III pp85-118 have light stain and small loss on the lower margin, not affecting the text and light stain patches on margins of the plates. Overall in G-to-VG conditions.
