Freddy Bannister was a concert promoter in the 60s and 70s and he was the founder of the Bath Festival of Progressive Music. He worked with many artists including The Beatles Pink Floyd The Who and Jimi Hendrix. Despite trying to attract the best music artists to his festivals his philosophy of always giving the best value for money remained.
