A very fine set bright and fresh with no wear or fading internally clean and fresh as well. RARE IN THIS CONDITION AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SET. LONDON serves as a exquisite example of one of Thomas Coates’ fine productions of illustrated travel books. It shares with Constantinople the honor of being the only city to have two full volumes devoted to it. The other two volume entries cover entire countries or regions. There is provided here a great deal of attention to the Royal history the Tower and government buildings. Hampton Court and Windsor are also included. The photographs masterfully reproduced in photogravure are quite exceptional in both content and quality and have original tissue guards which are captioned in red lettering. Henry T.
