"Ambulance Songs 2" è il seguito collettivo di un inclassificabile atto d'amore nei confronti del potere salvifico delle canzoni, di quel libro-manifesto per un'erotica della musica in cui Luca Buonaguidi e Salvatore Setola sceglievano narrazioni inconsuete rispetto ai classici registri della critica, per raccontare di vite immerse nella musica. Un libro-blog che aveva in www.ambulancesongs.com un'estensione potenzialmente infinita, per chiunque volesse condividere con gli autori del libro lo stesso amore ma per altre canzoni. 2 anni, 200 contributi di quasi 150 musicofili e un centinaio di migliaia di visite dopo, oggi il blog si è trasformato in una casa per tutti quelli come noi. Una versione senza confini della stanzarifugio in cui ognuno è diventato un tutt'uno con le proprie canzoni, attraversando dolore, perdita, solitudine, nostalgia, follia, ribellione, amicizia, amore, euforia... ma anche momenti apparentemente banali, che restano attaccati alle canzoni come epifanie memorabili. Il testo è ispirato all'omonimo spettacolo di Byrne, andato in scena con enorme successo a Broadway e su cui Spike Lee ha girato un film.
