2007001993Golden Books 2007. Pictorial heart shaped book is about 8 x 8 inches. There are two cut-outs on the front cover. A small red satin heart peeks through a heart-shaped cut out and the sound element is set in a round cut out. The words "PRESS FOR KISSES" are on the sound button. Throughout the book as part of the story are different touch and feel elements: a satin curtain a furry pig kitten bear and a soft blanket. The book is very good condition except for two pages that are creased near the inside seam. The satin curtain is slightly wrinkled at the top and there is light wear to covers. We fully test our electronic books. The sound element made just one sound - what we believe to be the sound of a bunny kiss. The sound no longer works. The batteries are imbedded inside the book and are not conventionally replaceable unlike a battery compartment you can open. While we are aware of instructions online on how to slice the book open and replace the batteries that is not something we do. Thanks for shopping with us! 100% of your purchase benefits charity and supports literacy and lifelong learning. Board Book. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Integrated Multimedia. A significant part of his hypnotic skill however was directed not at human beings but at animals with Volgyesi reputedly being able to put lions and tigers into a trance state and to have calmed a crocodile using only his powers of suggestion. He ran a particularly successful clinic in Budapest and possibly most interestingly was employed freelance by the Hungarian authorities in order to analyse and "cure" the mental illnesses of criminals in an effort to reduce recidivism. This work expounds on many of Vogyesi's theories surrounding hypnotic curative methods and also has the added bonus of photographic images of the good doctor hypnotising lion cubs. However the overwhelming scientific consensus today is that these differences are not due to genetics but are instead the result of environmental factors such as differences in education nutrition and exposure to culturally biased information. Garrett's ideas are considered part of a history of "scientific racism" that has been strongly criticized and rejected by the modern psychological community. . The Patrick Henry Press hardcover
