(Coron) Le 10 octobre 1966, Yvonne Zervos obtint de Picasso deux masques telluriques en cartalégraphie, auxquels se rajoutèrent deux masques supplémentaires confectionnés par l'artiste sous les yeux de l'éditeur en février 1967. Char dédie ses poèmes aux "Transparents ou vagabonds luni-solaires [qui] ont de nos jours à peu près complètement disparu des bourgs et des forêts où on avait coutume de les apercevoir." This is the first volume containing the entire Old Testament. Binding rubbed along edges and on covers. Head and tail of spine partly chipped. Minor age-toning along paper margin. Porro who's eyesight was impaired is also credited with the design of a "flying machine" able to transport many man. Porro also illustrated Porcacchi's 1572 publication "Isole piu famose del Mondo Most Famous Islands of the World." Porcacchi's work on funeral rites known to have been consulted in arranging high profile funerals e.g. that of Cosimo I. de Medici. Text in Italian. Page 51 misnumbered 15. Binding with light wear along edges light streaking to boards. Some offsetting along edges of free endpapers form leather binding.
