Gracious invitation to one of Walsh's famed salon evenings reading in part: ".our friend the Revd Mr. Baird expressed to me the wish. that I should make your acquaintance and that of Monsieur Nicolas the eminent theological writer. I have called on you but was not so fortunate as to find you at home. it will afford me much pleasure to see you & Mr. Nicholas at my apartment tomorrow evening. You will meet with some society which may prove agreeable to you & him." And by the way b.y.o.b. "Revd. Mr. Baird" was likely one of the famous American Presbyterian clergymen Robert or one of his sons Charles Washington or Henry Martyn. Bold and attractive. unknown
