[…]". - Der Sohn des Bildhauers Fritz Zerritsch studierte an der Malschule Scheffer und bei Christian Griepenkerl an der Allgemeinen Malerschule der Wiener Akademie. 1909 trat er in die Spezialschule Alois Delugs ein. Seit 1914 war er Mitglied des Wiener Künstlerhauses, malte Landschaften, Tiere und Bildnisse und schuf Entwürfe für Gobelins, Briefmarken und Banknoten. 1939 wurde er Professor an der Graphischen Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Wien.
