Very good but with water damage to the foredges of the covers and pages more so in volume II some scuffing on the edges of both volumes hinges cracked a bookplate on the pastedown of each volume. Overall in good condition; some rubbing to the bottom edge so the marbled covered boards are chipped a little along there and the fore-edge of the calf is bumped and rubbed; light rubbing along the front of the boards and on the calf spine edges also ; but generally nice and clean along the gilt-stamped spine.
