Legatura ottocentesca in mezza pelle, dorso liscio con titoli in oro. Ex libris. Una cerniera internamente un po' debole. Esemplare molto marginoso (in barbe) e ben conservato. Opera pregevole inserita nella serie dei testi della Crusca. Cfr. Gamba 234. Uno dei pochi esemplari con le pagine aggiunte.
Due parti in un volume di cm. 23, pp. (6) 288; (2) 126 (74). Frontespizi in rosso e nero con vignetta centrale incisa (il primo con il Frullone della Crusca). Legatura coeva in piena pergamena con titoli ms. al dorso. Esemplare con bruniture uniformi ad alcune sezioni di carte, peraltro in buono stato di conservazione. It is thought that Boccaccio conceived of the idea after the 1348 epidemic.Giovanni Boccaccio was an Italian writer and poet an important figure during the Renaissance. He is best known for this influential work which provided an essential element in the literary tradition of Italy.
