A mixed two volume set both being Nouvelle Edition but different dates and bindings. Tome premier 1725 edition 25 x 18.5 cm. 558pp ccviii unpaginated index. With a seperate title page for "Arrets du Conseil Detat Du Roy" done in 1719 Tome Second 1744 edition 26 x 20 cm. 1000pp. Both bound in full leather 5 raised bands to spines leather spine labels and gilt design. Tome premier being slightly smaller and in a darker binding than second. Small gouge to front cover of volume one and tail of spine chipped. Second has a more modern bookplate. Premier has some writing 18th century doggerel on endpapers. Bindings remain tight. French language text. Headcap of volume I worn with a loss. Headcap of volume II worn. 3 corners rubbed on volume I. Some surface abrasions. Rubbing. Good general appearance nonetheless. The edition contains the ordinances of 1667 1669 1670 and 1673 on civil criminal commercial administrative matters.
