Bruckmann a noted German art publisher based in Munich opened a London studio at the Strand in 1868.<br /> The artist P. Kramer is almost certainly Peter Kramer 1823-1907 a painter and lithographer from Bavaria who emigrated to the United States in 1848. He returned to Germany in 1858 but was later exiled for caricaturing the King of Bavaria. He returned to the United States and opened a studio in New York City. Fred. Bruckmann unknown
