Solid and VG with very light sunning to the spine ends and upper edges in a bright price-intact VG- example of the 1st state dustjacket with the "$2.00" price. Light interior and inconspicuous staining to the jacket 2 small pieces of internal white tape re-inforcing the spine crown and a closed tear. Light chipping and creasing as well to the fragile Cocteau-illustrated dustjacket. Still though very presentable and attractive. 12mo 27 illustrations by the author complementing the text. Longmans, Green and Co unknown
