In 16, pp. (8b) + 39 + (9b). Fr. nero e rosso. Bella vignetta inc. all'acq. al fr. raff. San Giovanni Decollato. Testo stampato in nero e rosso. Capilettera figg. Tarletto alle prime 5 cc. Antica cart. rustica.

In -4°, pp. (4), 44; carta marmorizzata. Prima e unica edizione. Leonardo Salviati (Florence 1539-1589) was a promoter of the Crusca Academy and between the editors of the first “Vocabolario”, a book that includes, between its sources, also the present work, between “the most notorious lessons to honor the passed away cardinal” (cfr Dbi, v. Luigi D’Este). During the year before the print, Salviati was employed by Alfonso II to write a new dinasty report about Este family: the first part of this book consists of the beginning of that work, never finished because the illness and the death of Salviati two years later.
