The Political Poster Workshop was a loose collective of student activists that formed out of screenprinting classes led by MalaquÃas Montoya an important figure in the Chicano Art Movement and lecturer at Berkeley. A delightful primer it was published during a period when a new concerted effort was made to educate the Russian peasants and their children beginning with Tolstoi's publishing of his "Azbuka" Alphabet in 1872. The current one with beautiful chromolithographs for each letter also contained several prayers the 10 Commandments morals grammar geographical facts arithmetics history of the Russian Empire etc. Not in OCLC; not in the trade as of February 2020. The Essex Agricultural Society was officially granted a charter in 1818 and its first president was the Honorable Timothy Pickering 1745 - 1829 - Revolutionary War hero Postmaster General Senator Secretary of War and Secretary of State under Presidents George Washington and John Adams. The initial goal of the society was to "promote and improve the agricultural interests of farmers and others in Essex County" by gathering and providing information from more progressive farming communities to every farmer in Essex County. The broadside listed the exercises to be held in order including "Thanksgiving Hymn" an "Address by Daniel P.
