Autograph dedication dated and signed by Meg Villars who was the mistress of Willy while he was married to Colette Walter Furst enriched with an autograph dedication signed by Willy. Both shipments are written in English and made on the illustrated cover. Our copy is also embellished with a photographic postcard pasted on a guard representing the authors on which Willy has made a new autograph dedication dated and signed to Walter Furst: "". exiled to Brussels . "" written in Brussels and also containing the handwritten signature of Meg Villars. Finally three photographic postcards representing Willy alone for the first then Willy and Polaire for the second and Willy and Claudine for the last were mounted on tabs between pages 156-157 264-265 and 294-295. On each of the three photographic postcards Willy cracked a signed autograph or a few words to Walter Furst. Unique copy nicely enriched with handwritten documents. Composition de grand format mettant en scène des animaux dans un paysage désertique, rocheux et nocturne. Sorte de jardin d'Eden où se côtoient lions et colombes, faune sauvage ou de jungle exotique (tigre, serpent) et chat domestique, avec au premier plan une créature mi-chatte mi-femme enlaçant un renard, l'oeuvre joue sur les contrastes et multiplie les références. Elle s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une double évolution de la carrière du peintre Willy Ingold dans les années 1950-1960 : d'une part, le retour à une esthétique d'inspiration surréaliste qui avait marqué ses débuts, et sous la bannière de laquelle il se présente lors de plusieurs Salons des Artistes Indépendants ; d'autre part, sur le plan formel, l'expérimentation de "nouvelles matières" (résine, plastique, textile, ...), objets d'une exposition au long cours dans son atelier de Montreuil. Souvent couplée à l'emploi de techniques mixtes innovantes, elles signent son intérêt grandissant - et de plus en plus exclusif - pour la décoration. Il y consacre d'ailleurs la seconde partie de sa vie professionnelle à travers des créations multiformes : panneaux, tentures, affiches, objets, sculptures, mobiliers, accessoires, etc.
