The front and rear covers are quite nice a few small scuffs on the edges and corners the back cover and several page corners are a bit 'nibbled' in the margins graphics are not affected The paper is 'toned' as usual for an item nearly 150 years old. . The woodblock illustrations are clear with excellent registry. All pages are clean a feint bit of very minor leading edge stain barely visible on a few page margins again images are not affected.
