With sixty colorful album-leaf paintings tipped in including works attributed to Emperor Huizong Lin Chun Xia Gui Pu An and Zhu Weide among others. An exceptionally clean and attractive copy with minor page rippling along the outer edge. All plates appear to be pristine. A Near Fine copy. Scarce in any condition. 8 lbs. weight. The history of Chinese painting shows that it reached a peak in the Song Dynasty C.E. 960 - 1279. The paintings of that period had a wide range of subject matter and that range is reflected in the paintings in this album.
