This play by Picasso is quite scarce especially in dust jacket! The gilt-decorated paper-covered boards are clean and bright with a small area of faint foxing and one tiny rub mark. Internally the paper is near fine except for a 1 1/4" X 2 1/2" water stain on the free front endpaper that is reflected only faintly on the half-title page. The dust jacket is clean and bright with minor foxing 3 tiny areas of edge chipping and a 1" X 1 1/2" triangular wrinkle/tear on the back panel without paper loss. The monograph presents for the first time the personal sketchbooks of Picasso and contains a catalogue raisonne which fully describes all 175 extant sketchbooks. "The Notebook of Notebooks" Facsimile of an illustrated Picasso notebook given to Marcel Duhamel and drawn by the latter in 250 copies plus a few non-commercial copies for the artist and the collaborators. It is kept in the strong paper enveloped printed in color from the original envelope decorated by Picasso for Marcel Duhamel the founder and director of the Serie Noire and a friend of Prevert. Without the printed booklet of Marcel Duhamel's presentation text which is often missing. Envelope addressed to "Señor Don Marcel Duhamel Antibes - A.M.
