Andrews about the incestuous plight of four unlucky siblings whose mother abandons them in the attic of her family's decaying ancestral home after their father's death in an automobile accident. Laid in is a singing telegram birthday greeting for Chapman from Evelyn Keys in its original telex envelope.<br/><br/>A Japanese aircraft carrier is headed to Pearl Harbor December 6 1941 when it encounters an American yacht and sinks it. Sue Curry Chapman is the yacht's sole survivor and she is picked up by an American submarine which intercepts the proposed attack on Pearl Harbor and tries to warn American forces in advance.
