In 1974 Culver City Doris Bither claimed the ghosts of three men were raping her. De Felitta was present during the investigation with lead researcher and parapsychologist Dr. Barry Taff who served as technical advisor on "The Entity" as well as being represented in the film by the character Gene Kraft. "The Entity" is one of the few possession films that ends with White Science and Black Magic in a draw. Critics of the time dismissed the film but it still became something of a cult classic that evoked "Rosemary's Baby" and "The Exorcist."<br /> <br /> Martin Scorsese considers "The Entity" as one of the greatest horror films of all time. Receiving no credit Bobby confronts Garland and when Garland is found shot dead shortly afterward Bobby becomes the prime suspect. Only Garland's back-up singer Tina Waters James believes Bobby's innocence. Together they hit the road looking for the killer. Draft script for the 1974 British film.<br /> <br /> A young man who has had a premonition of his death is called up to train and fight with the British forces during World War II ultimately ending in his actual death in battle on D-Day. Shot in black and white on vintage Kodak film stock with about half of the film comprised of archival footage of British training missions and the London Blitz borrowed from the Imperial War Museum in London director Stuart Cooper had originally intended to create a documentary though his aims changed as his research expanded. An underappreciated film with no distribution in the US until Janus re-released the film in 2006. The film went through many iterations of production passing between studios and directors with Parker returning to direct in 1994 after having initially rejected the opportunity in 1979.
