First Edition/First Printing. 120 pages. Rare Warren Cuccurullo and G Magazine collectible item. Now considered a contemporary erotic photography classic. The Brazilian G Magazine December 2000 Issue. There is no ISBN. The Issue is now rare. Pictorial softcovers which show Warren Cuccurullo on the cover and titles on the cover and spine as issued. The portfolio of Cuccurullo inside is 30 pages in all mostly full-page color plates accompanied by text in Portuguese. The latter repeats well-known facts about the life and career of the Missing Persons and Duran Duran rock band performer. Printed on glossy stock paper in Brazil to the highest standards. The reproduction quality is exemplary in respect. Without DJ as issued. Presents "Warren Cuccurullo Nude: G Magazine". In all his unabashed naked glory. Now defunct G Magazine's primary readership G stands for "gay" was well gay. Yet without exception ALL of the models it showcased were mainstream heterosexual figures: Film actors rock stars football players and other hunk-athletes Latin-American socialites and fashion models. Cuccurullo remains its most sensational scoop. What makes the photographs especially steamy is that at the time they were taken he was already 47 years old yet looked "body-fat-free" fit sexy and better-looking than the scrawny youth who became a cult rock star in the 1970's and 1980's. As a musician Cuccurullo is genuinely talented and accomplished: Apart from his full-time stints with the rock bands he is identified with he worked with such serious artists as Frank Zappa. "It's looked down upon in American culture at a serious level. Every time I was nervous about it I reminded myself that I was going to be a part of something that was going to help change those attitudes because I don't agree with those values at all. It's totally fine to show someone getting their head blown off in America. But you cannot show the male body. I think that says something about the culture" Warren Cuccurullo. An absolute "must-have" title for Warren Cuccurullo collectors. This title is a contemporary erotic photography classic. As far as we know this is the only copy of the legendary G Magazine Issue available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean crisp and bright. A rare copy thus. 30 color plates. One of the sexiest rock stars ever photographed nude. A fine copy. . G Magazine paperback

In publisher's original shrinkwrap. Without DJ as issued. Presents the complete Calvin Klein and Bruce Weber Magazine Issue-cum-Magazine Supplement/Insert. Weber's single best portfolio for Calvin Klein. It's the kind of inventive mass-media merchandising Calvin Klein pioneered and became known for generating tremendous press and consumer attention for himself and his eponymous brand influencing and revolutionizing the way the fashion industry does advertising even in our Social Media Age. The CK advertising campaign "had a seismic effect on America's social and cultural scene. Weber's photographs are part of the phenomenon they document. His advertising campaigns have come to stand for the acceptance of this imagery by the cultural mainstream. For those who can recall a time before it became acceptable for men to regard their underwear as fashion statements Weber's images must count among the most revolutionary tools yet devised in the history of consumer manipulation" The New York Times Magazine. Sexy photographs of the world's supermodels such as Christie Turlington and Marcus Schenkenberg beauties who are now iconic figures of fashion. Showcases another look perfected by the photographer and much copied by others: Racier and sexier in a cosmopolitan "metrosexual" way long before the latter term gained mass currency in contrast to the trademark "All-American" look that is identified with the Bruce Weber of "Bear Pond". One of the earlier references for modern house design in the United States and the first totally devoted to the Western ranch house style popularized by Cliff May in the pages of Sunset Magazine. It is a fascinating study of the roots of the ranch style and it is also a compendium of ideas for today's home builders. The ranch house’s successful design for living — a rambling one-story floor plan oriented to an extensive garden and one or more patios that functioned as “outdoor roomsâ€. Never trained or licensed as an architect Cliff May was an artist: a saxophone player turned furniture designer who expanded his scope first into staging mission style houses then designing ranch houses and ending by inspiring a whole housing movement.
