Prima edizione italiana, contemporanea all'originale francese. Interessante saggio a carattere antinapoleonico in un "ironica" contestazione della famosa opera del Conte di Segur sulla tragica campagna di Russia, stampato alla macchia col nome di un Generale d'armata. Traccia di gora marginale e sporadiche macchiette rugginose al primo volume, carta assai fresca e bella al secondo, legature ben conservate. Di notevole interesse e scarsa reperibilità.
