ISBN 90-5897-373-5. In 1968 Van der Kraan fled from her native Czechoslovakia to the Netherlands where she was admitted to the Haarlem post-academic art course Ateliers '63. In 1970 she bought her first camera with which she photographed the performances of her husband visual artist Axel van de Kraan. In the years that followed photography grew into her medium. She prefers to work in black and white. She also experiments with different photographic techniques such as gum printing and printing photos on canvas. Missiva di argomento teatrale. Praga commenta "La fata delle rose" ("rivela in Lei una fantasia ricca e originale e alcune ottime qualità drammatiche cioè un buon dialogo, sebbene sovrabbondante, qualche carattere ben delineato, meno riusciti i due protagonisti, e una certa abilità nella sceneggiatura; ma dubiuto fortemente della teatralità del lavoro....). Seguono critiche costruttive che si evolvono in stroncature: "Ecco perchè le restituisco il suo manoscritto esortandola a non perdersi d'animo... i pregi del lavoro mi fanno credere che in altre produzioni Ella si farà vedere con ricchezza di esito favorevole".

Viaggio a Mosca del fotografo praghese Erich Einhorn con 112 fotografie quasi tutte in bianco e nero stampate in nitido rotocalco anche su doppia e in un caso quadrupla pagina. Progetto grafico di Milan Mejstrik e versione in tedesco di Kurt Lautscher. Fuggito dal campo in cui giovanissimo lo internarono i tedeschi durante l'occupazione Erich Einhorn iniziò a fotografare con JindÅ™ich Marco 1921-2000 alla fine del conflitto documentando l'installazione della capitale provvisoria a KoÅ¡ice con l'avanzata dell'Armata Rossa. Nel dopoguerra dopo alcuni anni in cui si occupò anche di regia e montaggio cinematografico frequentò le scuole grafiche di Praga e si concentrò sul fotogiornalismo. Tra il 1955 e il 1960 Einhorn fu il fotografo di punta del quotidiano VeÄernÃk Praha portando nel panorama boemo la lezione del «momento decisivo» di Cartier Bresson e uno sguardo non privo di ironia molto apprezzato dal pubblico. La sua fama lo portò ad organizzare una mostra a Mosca ed ebbe così l'occasione di passare 17 giorni nella capitale durante i quali scattò queste immagini «à la sauvette» che documentano la vita della popolazione nelle attività quotidiane e nel contesto dei grandi eventi culturali e sportivi sovietici sullo sfondo del mastodontico sviluppo demografico ed edilizio di una città che ha «una forza insormontabile e un'incrollabile fiducia nel futuro» «eine unüberwindliche Kraft und ein erschütterliches Vertrauen in die Zukunft» dalla prefazione dell'autore. Questa serie di immagini esposta nella mostra «Moskva oclima fotoreportéra Vecerni Prahy» a Praga nel 1957 poi a Mosca e in numerose città del blocco sovietico fu raccolta in volume nel 1959 e pubblicata contemporaneamente in due versioni quella in ceco Do Moskvy per la rivista di propaganda sovietica SvÄ›t sovÄ›tů e questa in tedesco rivolta al mercato internazionale per l'editrice statale Artia specializzata in libri illustrati. Meiri was born in Perpignan where he spent his whole life. His family, regarded as one of the most distinguished in Provence, originated from Carcassonne and Narbonne. Among the contemporary scholars with whom he maintained close ties was Solomon b. Abraham Adret; they exchanged many responsa and Adret's teachings assisted him in the writing of his monumental work. Meiri was one of the participants in Adret's polemic against Maimonides which ended in Adret's excommunicating any person who read philosophical works in his youth. In a letter to Abba Mari b. Moses Joseph, who handled the entire affair and collected the relevant correspondence, Meiri disassociated himself from the attitude of Adret and his colleagues, upholding freedom of thought for the scholars of each country, and freedom from intervention by outside scholars. Extracts from Meiri's letter (republished by D. Kaufmann along with the reply by Joseph b. Simeon in the name of Abba Mari under the title ? Oshen Mishpat in the Jubelschrift L. Zunz, 1884; Heb. Sec. 14274) , reveal his great interest in philosophy and other secular sciences, and reflect his pride in the local scholars who had acquired proficiency in them. Meiri occupies a central position in the sphere of the talmudic creativity of Provence, not only due to his extraordinary literary fecundity and the comprehensive scope of his works, but also because he summarizes the teachings of his predecessors during the previous three centuries. In effect he puts the seal upon the literary efforts in this area of Jewish culture. His literary activity covered halakhic rulings, talmudic exposition, biblical exegesis, customs, ethics, and philosophy. The vast majority of Meiri's works remained in manuscript until very recently, probably on account of their exceptional length, which made it practically impossible to copy them in full. A small number of his books were published in the second half of the 18th century and the majority of them from the beginning of the 20th century up to the present day (Ta-Shma and Derovan in EJ, 2007) .
