Molto buono Very Good. . <em>For the installation <strong>Projected Data Images: Testcuts</strong> which is the focus of the exhibition the artist examined comprehensively for the first time her immense photo archive of more than forty years. The basis of this revision was however not negatives but so-called test strips testcuts which are actually fragmentary by-products of the process of analog enlargement. Arranged into digital montages these once random details of images from more than 1800 photographs provide historical references that bring to live an individual ahistorical mnemonic construction of people exhibitions and events in the art world of Dü";sseldorf and the world since 1966.<br /><br /></em> <em>Per l'installazione <strong>Projected Data Images: Testcuts</strong> che costituisce il fulcro della mostra l'artista ha esaminato per la prima volta in modo completo il suo immenso archivio fotografico di oltre quarant'anni. Alla base di questa revisione tuttavia non c'erano i negativi ma le cosiddette strisce di prova testcuts che sono in realtà sottoprodotti frammentari del processo di ingrandimento analogico. Signed and inscribed by Anna Kuberová-Muchová sister of Alfons Mucha. Good or better; wrappers lightly discolored; binding somewhat shaken. Issued by the Association of Artists in Prague founded 1849 one of the oldest Czech artists' organizations this lavishly printed catalog was one of the earliest attempts to introduce Czech viewers to Russian artists such as Makovsky Nesterov Repin Shishkin and many others. With a preface by Jaroslav Kamper. Signed and inscribed in 1926 by Anna Kuberová-Muchová the sister of Alfons Mucha the famous Czech Jugendstil painter and graphic artist. 13222Chester 9 January 1858. 1 page 7 x 4½ inches in good condition. There is a photograph of the sibling sextet know as the Family Brousil in the Royal Collection. The Brousils were a family of young musicians from Prague who first appeared in England in 1856 at the Gallery of Illustration in Regent Street. They played for Queen Victoria and her family on three occasions. It is not known how they were brought to the Queen's notice but the Royal Family's own involvement with music was considerable and she may have been attracted by the idea of a group of musical brothers and sisters whose ages were so near those of her own children. The young musicians in the 1857 photograph in Queen Victorias collection are Mlles Bertha 14 years old violin solo Antonia 17 piano and Cecilie 6 2nd violin; Messrs Albin 13 violoncello Adolphus 11 viola gamba and Aloys 7 1st violin. unknown
