Monthly almanac with the usual information on the moon etc. While calculated for the town of Portsmouth New Hampshire the almanac states it could be used by any New England state. Also present is a list of the courts/court dates in New Hampshire as well as detailed descriptions of a variety of counterfeit bills knocking off those produced by a plethora of banks from New York Massachusetts Maine and elsewhere. A list of uncurrent bills is also provided. A new method of producing clean cider is described as well. POOR condition. All leaves essentially DETACHED from each other with one or two clinging on to each other. Heavy chipping curling creasing and tearing to the corners and fore edge. Moderate scattered foxing spotting staining and soiling heavy to the rear cover. Faint owner's signature present. A very worn but intact copy of this obscure almanac. A collection of three maps depicting Boston Massachusetts in 1630 1635 and 1640. These were originally found in the Town Records Book of Possessions and other sources. The primarily depict property and owners as well as roads ways. Text with names for references included with each map. POOR condition. EX-LIBRARY. Spine reinforced with black tape. Exterior labels interior pastedown and stamping present. Paper very brittle. Heavy chipping tearing and loss along the fore edge and lower edge. The first map TORN into two pieces neatly along one of the folds. Other maps intact. Last map MISSING. POOR condition as is. Reference copy only. Really we swear. Municipal Printing Office unknown

One side features a full color illustration of two women and two men each with a box of Search Light matches in their hand that when the paper is unfolded is lifted into the air. The rest of the piece is advertising copy touting the matches' ease of lighting that they don't get eaten by rats they're nonpoisonous etc. VERY GOOD condition. General toning. The piece contains thanks from the troops to the crew a message from the captain and a day to day account of the trip including personal musings and account of drills. GOOD condition. Best known as a surveyor he also taught arithmetic and wrote this guide to simplify his classes. GOOD condition ex-library. Exterior call label interior pastedowns and markings present. Several areas of ink staining to the covers with minor soiling and fading. Leather worn along the spine with the other extremities rather bumped scuffed and frayed.
