The contents are bound into a red stiff-paper file folder with a red plastic binder. A rectangular keyhole reveals the title on the first page of the report. The publisher's name is printed in gilt at bottom right. The binding is slightly rubbed with the inner corners of the folder lightly creased. 4 leaves pages 1-26 and 6 diagrams 3 tables & a folding chart. Very good. <p>First edition<p>Fairchild Systems was a United States defense contractor. The San Francisco Chronicle described the company as "one of the legendary names of Silicon Valley" and noted that its Bay Area operations were a training ground for the engineers who went on to found Intel and other top semiconductor companies.<p>The authors write: "This experiment is designed to permit identification of distinguishing spectral spatial and temporal features of the Earth by obtaining a multi-spectral image record from an aircraft at a resolution of 32 ft. / element and 60 ft. / element from a satellite using a solid state imaging system.".<p>Mounted on the front of the folder is the address label of Edward Willett who worked as an engineer at Fairchild Systems.
