First edition of this first Turkish translation of Gorki's famous work 'Lenin', translated by Dr. Fuad (or Fuat] Sabit [Agacikli] (1876-1935), in the year 1936, when Gorki died. After the Erzurum Congress, held in 1919, Fuad Sabit was sent to Baku as a representative to help the Bolsheviks and to get their support for the National Struggle (1919-1922). Afterward, he joined the Turkish Communist Party. He completed successful diplomatic actions in Baku, Dagestan, and Moscow. On September 01, 1923, he was promoted to medical major.
