A very good copy with minimal wear to the spine tips. Interior is clean and unmarked other than the signatures. The book opens widely at the half title page but the binding is solid as are the hinges. The unclipped jacket is also very good- clean and bright with minimal edgewear. 282 pp. indexed black and white photo gathering at the center. Fosbury's passing in early 2023 was a blow to the track and field community in Oregon where he pioneered the Fosbury Flop - used by most competitors in the high jump to this day. <br/><br/> Skyhorse Publishing hardcover

Articles about towns in Indian Territory New Mexico Colorado Oklahoma and Texas with special coverage on Addington Indian Territory Cloudcroft New Mexico Santa Rosa New Mexico and Burlington Colorado the county seat of Kit Carson County. Also some information on growing crops such as rice and broom corn. All in all an interesting newspaper for its day. This item has had detailed work by a master paper conservator as it has been deacidified a few small portions have been mended with Japanese paper and any tears or paper loss have been infilled. It has been housed in a transparent polyester "Mylar" sleeve to protect against dirt and handling. A very good and serviceable copy.
