Our copy is exceptionally enhanced with two original watercolors by Yves Brayer which he signed: one on a sheet of 27x19.5cm mounted on cardboard and presented under mat representing an equestrian scene; the second a Camargue landscape on the half-title page and dedicated in pencil by the artist to Bernard Gauche. The copy is also enriched with a greeting card for the year 1973 numbered and signed in the plate by Yves Brayer. Handsome copy. The work is presented in loose sheets in double slipcases and chemises in full orange cloth in landscape format. The first slipcase contains the original watercolor framed under mat the illustrated cover and the text illustrated with 64 in-text engravings. Manuscript signature of Yves Brayer on the colophon. Under the second slipcase our copy contains: - A suite on Japon Torinoko of the 64 etchings under flap cover signed and numbered by hand by Yves Brayer. The first and last engraving are also signed in pencil by the artist. - 5 original matrices of the cancelled copperplates presented in accordion format in a chemise.
