Inscribed on the front endpaper "Mary Anne Miller - the gift of the Marquess of Bath 1833". RARE. The work was produced for and given to various cottagers who worked on the estate at Longleat. After brewing and breadmaking there is instruction on the keeping of cows pigs rabbits and fowls; various recipes follow. It is rarely mentioned in the history of English cookery books. Il est question ici d'un manuel culinaire qui fut de nombreuses fois réédité. L'exemplaire préparé par Daniel Morcrette est la plus belle réussite de son catalogue avec sa superbe reliure ! Ce livre est devenu Extrèmement RARE. Il est ici dans un superbe état presque neuf ! Très bon état, presque neuf.

Cette édition était également en vente au "Cordon Bleu", 129 faubourg St-Honoré à Paris à partir de cette même date. Le titre de l'édition était "l'art d'accommoder le riz. Petit recueil de recettes pratiques de cuisine, pâtisserie, entremets" ! Ce livre avait comme but de faire connaître la production de riz dans les colonies asiatiques de la France. "Enrichir l'Indochine, c'est enrichir la France" ! Les recettes auraitent été rédigées par Henri-Paul Pellaprat, alors professeur à l'école de cuisine de Mlle Marthe Distel. Cachet en bleu de E. Bonneau sur la page de titre et ayant fait partie de la Bibliothèque de la ville de Châtellerault (vignette collée au bas de la couverture avec un numéro de rangement ainsi qu'une inscription au bic sur la troisième de couverture), TRES RARE.
